Joe Fox and Kathleen Kelly live on Manhattan's West Side and correspond anonymously over the Internet. They are not free, but something beckons them to correspond with each other. In real life, they are fierce competitors, they regularly have to face each other, unaware of their connection... Joe throws Kathleen out of the business and later finds out that she is his "pen pal". Kathleen has no idea that the person she is "crazy about" is the same Joe Fox who "wants to steal everything"...
