Another Earth

A science fiction drama about the tragic intersection of the lives of a student, just accepted to the astrophysics program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a brilliant composer who has reached the top of his profession and is expecting the birth of his second child. On the night scientists discover a planet in the solar system that is identical to Earth, Rhoda Williams, while driving drunk, crashes into John Burroughs' car, killing his wife and son, and he falls into a coma. The main character of the film goes to prison.
