La bonne étoile

The swindler and deserter Jean Chevalin, stayed at the front for only one day and fled home. In order to somehow feed his family and save them from the relentlessly advancing Nazis, he comes up with a desperate plan. Forge documents, pretending that he and his family are Jews. Now he is Jean Shevalovich, and hopes that this ruse will help them reach the free zone, but instead they find themselves in the very heart of the Resistance. And now he will have to fight for real!
