The educators of the "Mercy" orphanage have a profitable business: they arrange concerts for the nobility. In Venice of the 18th century, there are strict rules, so girls cover their faces with masks during performances and are fenced off from the audience with bars. After all, they must be successfully married off later. When business profits begin to decline, the owners decide to hire a new teacher. A talented, but unknown at the time, genius with a bad reputation arrives at the monastery. Reclusive Vivaldi is obsessed with music, and immediately destroys the old order. His new favorite is the young Chechylia, for whom music is the greatest passion in life. The only thing she wants is to stay in the walls of the orphanage and devote herself to music. But the educators have already prepared a profitable party for her among influential people...
