Замки на піску
Замки на піску
The film tells the story of Ukrainian artists and dreamers who have been representing Ukraine for more than 10 years at Burning Man, one of the most famous cultural venues in the world. Projects that began as an adventure and a manifestation of self-expression gradually became a form of dialogue with the world — an artistic manifesto and a cultural-diplomatic mission. Ukrainian art objects — Phoenix, I'm Fine, Blue Bull, Black Cloud — become an entry point into the Ukrainian context for the foreign audience: they are about memory, loss, resilience and freedom. The tape shows how these ideas are born, how much work and risks are behind their implementation, and how the embedded messages resonate in the Western community.
