Magnus is a fisherman on an industrial vessel, Anna is an artist. A loving couple in the past, they are now separating, but continue to raise three children together. Read more This is an intimate drama directed by Glynur Palmason ("God's Country") about the transformation of a family after a breakup, told with humor and elements of magical realism. Palmason also acted as the operator of the tape and shot it on 35 mm film. The director's two sons, Grimur and Torgils Glinson, and even his Icelandic shepherd, Panda, starred in the film. For her role, she received the Palme d'Or at Cannes, where the film premiered. The film will also represent Iceland at this year's Oscars for Best International Film.
