Eric, a young man destroyed by an abusive father, drowns in the hallucinogenic world of "blood," a narcotic potion of vampiric origin that provides temporary relief but gradually destroys his body and mind. His cousin Shawn tries to protect him while acting as a dealer supplying the deadly commodity. But even among the familiar streets and shadows of the past, real vampires — real and unpredictable enemies — are waiting for Eric. Between temptation, addiction and mortal threat unfolds a story of fragile hope, human relationships and fighting one's own demons.
