Nam June Paik: Moon Is the Oldest TV
Nam June Paik: Moon Is the Oldest TV
Nam June Paek is called the Nostradamus of the digital age, who predicted the emergence of the Internet. His ideas can be found in global media, social networks and MTV aesthetics. The artist was born in Korea, which at that time was occupied by Japan, and found his creative freedom in post-war Germany, where he studied to become a composer. The meeting with John Cage divided his life into before and after. Inspired by his bold approaches, Nam Joon Baek never tired of experimenting: he created art from television and turned the world of contemporary art upside down.
