16-year-old Cady Giron is moving to the United States after living with her parents in Africa for 12 years. She makes friends, outsiders Janice Ian and Damien Lee. At the same time, a group of the school's most popular girls, led by Regina George, are paying attention to Cady. Then Janice, who once quarreled with George, comes up with a plan: it is necessary to "introduce" Cady into a popular party in order to take revenge on the girl.
