The story of The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rogirim takes place 183 years before the events of the original film trilogy. The plot tells about the fate of the House of Helm the Hammer, the legendary king of Rogan. He is unexpectedly attacked by Wolfe - a shrewd and ruthless lord of Dunland, who seeks revenge for the death of his father. He forces Helm and his men to engage in a risky final battle in the ancient fortress of Hornburg, which will later become known as Helm's Ravine.
