A student from Finland boards the Moscow-Murmansk train, trying to escape from her mysterious Moscow love. She has to share a long trip and a cramped compartment with a rude Russian miner. Unintentional neighborliness helps both passengers of compartment number six to realize their loneliness and longing for human relations.
