Dovzhenko Center presents the eighth almanac of the best short films "Ukrainian New Wave". The theme of this year's almanac was rebooting – the process by which a computer or other device completely clears or restores the contents of RAM and resumes its operation anew. However, the topic of the almanac goes much beyond the technical definition and concerns the personal and social dimensions of human life. The almanac is structured in such a way that it forms a new audiovisual work with its own dramaturgy and visual style. This collection of films demonstrates moods and trends in Ukrainian society and cinema in 2020-2021.
