Ukraine, 1996. Five months until the death penalty is abolished. A murdered policeman is found in the lake. The law enforcement officers want revenge and are in a hurry to complete the case before the moratorium on the execution is introduced. The forensic psychiatrist has to play a key role in the complicated investigation process to save the accused from the punishment they do not deserve.
