Police detective Stella Murphy, who works in the slaughter department, returns from vacation and begins to investigate the strange murder of a woman: her charred body was found in an abandoned warehouse, but no sign of fire was found in the vicinity. It soon turns out that the victim was living a quiet life with her teenage daughter Nori and her elderly mother. The conversation with the latter does not bring the desired result, so Stella decides to team up with the orphaned girl in an attempt to gather more information. The situation gets complicated when the detective learns that Nori has supernatural powers.
