After being awarded the Medal of Honor for bravery during a firefight with ISIS, US Marine Capt. Brad Paxton is suffering from the long-term effects of being in a combat zone. With the support of his loving wife Kate, Brad tries to adjust to civilian life. When Kate, a famous archaeologist, is given a unique opportunity to pursue a career in Morocco, Brad urges her not to miss the chance. However, when Kate arrives, she is taken hostage by a terrorist group who demand $10 million in ransom. Brad rushes to Morocco, where the US ambassador has stopped negotiations for Kate's release after the deal jeopardized United Nations talks on future oil supplies in the region. When the unusual circumstances of Kate's kidnapping are revealed, Brad is forced to use his military skills in a daring and deadly operation to find the culprits and save the woman he loves.
