On June 12, 1994, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman were found stabbed to death outside Nicole's home. Her ex-husband, the famous American football player and actor OJ Simpson, was accused of murder. This case, also known as "People v. Simpson", became the most high-profile trial in America in the 1990s. There was enough evidence for the prosecution, but a jury found Simpson not guilty.
