News of the World
After the Civil War, Kidd, a veteran, earns a living by reading newspapers in small towns. Fate brings him together with a 10-year-old girl rescued from captivity by Indians. Captain Kidds sets out to deliver an orphan hundreds of miles away to his relatives' home. On their way, they will meet with inexorable nature and with a much more terrible element - human cruelty and greed.
