Standoff

War veteran Carter Green lives alone in a country house, grieving the death of his young son. An orphan girl who has experienced too much loss for her young age mourns her parents on the anniversary of their death and witnesses a professional hitman storm a cemetery and kill all its visitors. Terrified, the girl runs away, followed by the killer. Eventually, she has nowhere to run and finds refuge in Carter's farmhouse, where Carter vows to protect her and avenge her family's murder.
