An American Pickle
An American Pickle
In the 1920s, Herschel Greenbaum, a hard-working worker, arrives in America in search of a better life for himself and his family. Once, while working at a factory, he falls into a barrel of pickles, where he remains pickled for 100 years. The brine keeps him in perfect condition - when he comes to in modern Brooklyn, he finds that he hasn't aged at all. The man decides to find his family, but is horrified to learn that his only living relative is his great-great-grandson Ben Greenbaum, a humble programmer whom Hershel will never understand.
