K-PAX

A strange man with black glasses is brought to the Manhattan Psychiatric Institute. He calls himself Prot and claims that his homeland is the distant planet Ka-Pex, from where he was instantly transported to Earth on a beam of light. Despite all his efforts, the experienced Dr. Powell fails to solve the mystery of the mysterious patient, who willingly and very convincingly proves to everyone his extraterrestrial origin and pre-sets the date of his return to Ka-PEX. Soon, Mark Powell, who never managed to discover the secret of the identity of his strangest protégé, begins to be disturbed by an incredible but obsessive thought: that maybe Prot is not crazy at all and there is some truth in his words...
