Pale Rider
Pale Rider
Northern California, the end of the first half of the 19th century. There is a conflict at the gold mines in the Sierra mountains: the residents of a small village, individual prospectors, do not want to accept the offer of the boss of the gold mining company, who dreams of taking over their small business. After another attack by bandits hired by the tycoon, the gold seekers seem to have resigned themselves to their fate and are ready to admit defeat. But a rider on a white horse in a priest's cassock appears in the town. The local marshal, a bandit guide, tries to remember where he saw this person, and 14-year-old Megan, as if answering his question, reads lines from the Bible: "His name is death."
