I Am Woman
I Am Woman
The film tells about the singer Helen Reddy, who flew to New York in 1966 with her three-year-old daughter, a suitcase and $230 in her pocket. After a few weeks, she didn't have a penny left. A few months later, she fell in love. Five years later, she became one of the biggest stars of those times and a symbol of the feminist movement of the 1970s. Helen wrote a song that inspired a whole generation of women to fight for their rights.
