A story about an alternate reality where, in the 17th century, US witches made a pact with the authorities, agreeing to serve the country in exchange for an end to persecution. The main characters are three young witches from modern times, barely trained in the basics of combat magic and sent to the front lines to fight against an unknown supernatural force.
