The Postcard Killings
The Postcard Killings
Paris, the capital of France, where every couple in love dreams of going. The daughter of New York detective Jacob Cannon, along with her fiance, also ended up there... And stayed there forever. Some perverted homicidal maniac simply mocked their bodies, forcing the girl's father to go on the warpath. The same crimes happened in other big European cities - Copenhagen, Stockholm, Frankfurt, London, Madrid. And before each murder, the maniac sends a postcard to the local media with a quote from Shakespeare's sonnets, as if announcing his appearance. In order to prevent further murders, Jacob must unravel the system by which this aesthete operates. It is not for nothing that he imitates Michelangelo's sculptures or Raphael's paintings from his victims. Read more A New York detective investigates the death of his daughter who was murdered while on her honeymoon in London; he recruits the help of a Scandinavian journalist when other couples throughout Europe suffer a similar fate.
