For centuries, most people have viewed women as beautiful and attractive individuals to spend a good night with or simply to look at. Beauty contests were created precisely in order to determine the most beautiful girls on the whole planet. But time passed, and women began to fight for their rights. In 1970, in London's Albert Hall, the most beautiful girls must enter the 20th beauty pageant to determine the best of them. Someone will be there because of vanity, and someone will be there to motivate girls in their country. And some, like a group of disaffected feminists, will come to the contest as spectators to disrupt it. Read more The film is based on real events. The director of the project was Philippa Lowthorpe, who previously worked on small projects. The film starred: Keira Knightley ("Pride and Prejudice" (2005, Oscar nomination), "Atonement" (2007), the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise), Hugu Embata-Ro ("Sloane's Dangerous Game" (2016), "Orphan Brooklyn" (2019), the series "The Connection"), Jesse Buckley ("The Beast" (2017), "Judy" (2019), mini-series "Chernobyl"). The film will be released on March 12, 2020 in Saudi Arabia.
