According to the plot, the famous host of the detective podcast Poppy Parnell (Octavia Spencer) became famous for her own investigations of various crimes. She gathers a huge audience of people who believe in her. For one of the programs, Poppy investigates a brutal murder and quickly finds the person who probably committed the crime. He turns out to be a young guy named Warren Cave. Poppy's arguments become decisive in court and the boy is sent to prison. Even there, however, Warren continues to insist on his innocence. And after some time, completely new details are revealed in this case. Poppy realizes that she may well have sent an innocent person behind bars, so she returns to the investigation again...
