In the film, the roles were played by: Emily Beecham ("The Thirteenth Tale" (2013), the series "In the Desert of Death"), Ben Whishaw ("Perfumer: The Story of a Murderer" (2006), "Cloud Atlas" (2012), the series "The Hollow Crown"), Carey Fox ("The Shallow Grave" (1994), "Bright Star" (2009), "Mr. Peep" (2012)). The premiere of the film took place on May 17, 2019 at the Cannes Film Festival, France. Film critics on the Metacritic website rated the film 56/100, and on Rotten tomatoes you can find 71% positive reviews (29/41).
