Bill and Ted heard a prophecy that their rock and roll would save the universe from destruction. However, many years have passed, but the same song has not been written by the heroes. In addition, their marriages are falling apart, and their own children are angry with their fathers. Suddenly, a stranger arrives from the future and reminds that if Bill and Ted do not release their hit, the universe will be in incredible danger. Friends go on a new journey through different eras in search of inspiration. They will be accompanied by their daughters, several historical figures and legendary musicians.
