Das melancholische Mädchen
Das melancholische Mädchen
A melancholic girl wanders the city in search of a place to spend the night. On her way, she meets many interesting and unusual people: young mothers who celebrate their motherhood as a religious experience of rebirth; an immigrant with a restrained existentialist, for whom sex is just a commodity waiting in a drug bar for the end of capitalism. And this is far from a complete list of personalities that the girl will meet during this time. Her attempts to write a book fail already in the first sentence of the second chapter. She can't find her place between art galleries, yoga studios, and strangers' beds. Instead of trying to fit into this environment, the girl begins to recognize her depression as a political problem. In this world of post-modern society, anything can happen to her. Details The project was shot in pink and blue tones. The director of the film is Suzanne Heinrich, for whom this is her first full-length work. Little-known actress Marie Rastchek played the main role in the film. The premiere of the film took place on January 15, 2019 at the Max Ophuls Film Festival, Germany.
