Catch-22
Catch-22
1944 year. The Bomber Regiment, in which Captain Yossarian serves, was stationed on an island in the Tyrrhenian Sea. In order to go into reserve, a serviceman must fly a certain number of combat missions in accordance with the norm established in the US Air Force. However, the commander of the regiment, serving the next rank, constantly raises the bar. Yossarian tries to get away from the war and pleads insanity as the disease is the official reason for suspension from flying. But according to the government decree "Trap-22", anyone who calls himself crazy in order to be released from military duty, thereby proves the opposite, because such a statement clearly indicates sanity.
