What's My Name: Muhammad Ali
What's My Name: Muhammad Ali
On February 6, 1967, Muhammad Ali beat Ernie Terrell in a stadium in Houston. Each time he refused to deliver a decisive blow that would send the opponent to the knockout stage - and each time he asked Terrell: "What is my name?". Ali was really angry: before the fight, Terrell called him by his old name - Cassius Clay. Clay changed his name three years prior to this bout, effectively becoming the first Muslim superstar in pop culture history. A supporter of the black Islamic radical Malcolm X, defiantly refused to fight in Vietnam, Ali was a great fighter not only in the ring, but also outside of it.
