"Charman Legrand" is a retrospective program dedicated to the memory of the great composer Michel Legrand, who died in January of this year. The French music classic has three Oscars, five Grammys and a Golden Globe. Legrand is known to Ukrainian audiences primarily for the melodies from "Cherbourg Umbrellas". In addition to the musical, which at the time was awarded the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, the retrospective program will also show the musical "The Girls of Rochefort" with Catherine Deneuve, the tragicomedy "The Price of Fame" with Benoît Poulevard, the drama "Bereghini" with Natalie Bay and the detective musical "8 Women" by François Ozon. In Kyiv, "Charman Legrand" will start on April 11 - after the end of the cinema screenings, the program will be available for demonstration in movie clubs.
