The smell of hot coffee wafts in the air near the 181st Street subway station, and a kaleidoscope of desires unites the loud and friendly residents of this New York neighborhood. Usnavi (Anthony Ramos), a charismatic owner of a small shop, who saves every hard-earned cent to realize his dream of a better life, falls into this vortex.
