His father stood on the side of order in New York, and died defending that city. Now the boy has grown up and has become a police detective himself, who takes on any cases. The last case became fundamental for him - eight policemen were killed when they came to a robbery call. Eight well-armed men were simply shot like in a slaughterhouse. To catch the killers, the detective goes to extreme measures - he orders to patrol the Hudson, all the tunnels from Manhattan, the subway and block the twenty-one bridges that connect the island with other boroughs of New York. All this locks the killers and the detective on one piece of land - they simply will have nowhere to go. It will be a real hunt, only it is still unclear who is the hunter and who is the victim.
