The thin British Stan Laurel and the full-bodied American Oliver Hardy became one of the most famous duos of American classic cinema. Until 1940, they starred at the Roach studio, then appeared in eight comedies for Fox and MGM, but by the mid-1940s they had tied the knot with the cinema and began performing live. The film will tell what happened behind the scenes and how people who used to make people laugh really lived.
