Why Are We Creative: The Centipede's Dilemma
Why Are We Creative: The Centipede's Dilemma
No scientist has yet managed to sort out the phenomenon of creativity and explain where our creativity comes from, how to control, develop and stimulate it. The author of the discovery film, Hermann Waske, was also concerned with this question and decided to do his own research. For more than thirty years, the director collected interviews with artists and thinkers, including Nobel Prize and Oscar winners, stars of fine arts, music, filmmaking, literature, philosophy, politics, business and science. He asked all of them one question: "Why are you creative?". You can see how Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch, Damien Hirst, Marina Abramovich, Yoko Ono, Takeshi Kitano, David Bowie and others answer this question in the framework of Kinove.Festival of intellectual and aesthetic cinema.
