The Canadian film director of Ukrainian origin decided to visit his homeland, but unexpectedly found himself in extremely interesting circumstances: as a result of the signing of a number of international treaties, the country's borders with the whole world were opened. After that, the population began to leave en masse abroad in search of a better life - after a few weeks the country became deserted. During this expedition, the film team searches for answers - are the people who remained happy and why?
