Cézanne - Portraits of a Life
Cézanne - Portraits of a Life
A unique exhibition of portraits by Paul Cézanne is one of the most discussed events in the art world this year. An exhibition of more than fifty portraits of the artist's work from collections around the world opened at the Musée d'Opce in Paris before traveling to London and Washington. It is impossible to appreciate the art of the 20th century without paying tribute to Paul Cézanne, who contributed to its development. With the help of experts and curators from the Musée d'Opce, the National Portrait Gallery in London and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, as well as the personal correspondence of the artist himself, this film will reveal to the audience not only a unique exhibition, but also the world of perhaps the lesser-known of the great post-impressionists.
