Ghosts
Ghosts
The life of Frau Elene Alving passes in the shadow of the figure of her long-dead husband - a good man and a benefactor for others, a drunkard and a debauchee for his own wife. Before the arrival of her grown-up son Oswald, who is learning the wisdom of the profession of a painter in Paris, Elene decides to part with the haunting ghosts of the past and open her son's eyes to the true essence of his father, until it turns out that Oswald himself already has to live with the heavy legacy of his past sins. The high-profile production with the participation of actress Leslie Manville caused a sensation in the Almeida theater, it was impossible to get tickets for it. Later, the play moved to the Trafalgar Studios theater, where its showing had to be continued at the request of the public.
