The main character still lives with his parents and works part-time at the Devlin Research Center, which specializes in sexual dysfunctions. Due to the painful period of puberty, Josh has low self-esteem and poorly developed communication skills, so the young man often gets lost in communication with women. The only thing the hero thrives on is the video game Cybergeddon, which takes place in a bleak future where his character, the Man from the Future, occupies a high social position. As Josh passes the final level, he is visited by Cybergeddon characters who claim that the game was just a training session and that the hero is now chosen to travel back in time and help them save the world. Is Josh ready for this? Certainly not.
