In one of the largest remand detention centers, a prisoner is killed under the leadership of Nowatsky. The investigation begins. Sergeant Berg, one of the participants in the convoy two years ago, whom no one ever wanted to talk about, who may have something to do with the crime, is called in for questioning. The convoy, led by Sergeant Zavada, was carrying a criminal nicknamed "Teacher" who was accused of murdering two prison employees and their families. The prisoner was declared insane and sent to a psychiatric hospital. Not everyone agreed with this scenario.
