Amok

Katarzyna Adamik's film is based on the real story of Christian Bala, which was discussed by the media all over the world. The Wrocław District Court sentenced Christian Bala in 2007 to 25 years in prison for murdering his ex-wife's lover. The murder took place on November 13, 2000, but during the investigation it was not possible to find the criminal. The turning point was Christian Bala's novel "Amok", which describes a very similar murder. Forensic experts claimed that there is a similarity between the main character of the book and its author.
