Mudbound

1946 year. Henry McAllan moves his family from Memphis to his father's remote cotton farm in the Mississippi Delta. While Henry is engaged in manual labor on the land he loves, his wife Laura, who is used to city life, is struggling to settle in a new place under the watchful eye of her strict father-in-law. Henry's younger brother Jamie soon joins them.
