Harold and Maude
Harold and Maude
Harold is the son of Mrs. Chase, the richest woman who does not pay attention to him. Suffering from depression and lack of friends, he staged carefully thought out, but ridiculous suicides, which did not make any impression on his absent-minded mother. Fascinated by death and all its external paraphernalia, Harold drives around the cemeteries around the town on an old hearse. At two funerals in a row, he meets Maud, a 79-year-old grandmother, a concentration camp survivor and as fascinated by life as Harold is by death. Free-spirited, she is the exact opposite of the solemn and important Harold. However, they become best friends, and she instills in him the desire to live, to spread his wings, to enjoy his short stay on Earth. Time passes, they experience several funny and crazy adventures together, and friendship turns into love - much to the dismay of Harold's mother.
