Brad Sloan has everything to consider himself lucky. He lives in suburban Sacramento with his beautiful wife, Melanie, and musical genius son, Troy. The boy is preparing to enter college, and for this he chooses the best institutions in the USA. Brad remembers his youth and realizes that he has achieved much less than his friends from his school days: a Hollywood star, a hedge fund founder, a wealthy entrepreneur and the author of many bestsellers.
