Paris, 1880. A 40-year-old sculptor named Auguste Rodin finally created a composition of figures "Gates of Hell". Some of his creations will later become world famous ("Kiss" or "The Thinker"). The sculptor lives with Rosa Bere, his longtime partner. But another woman appears in his life - young Camille Claudel. Both girls had an incredible influence on the fate and creativity of the genius. Camilla was first his most talented student, then his assistant, and later became his lover. After their divorce, Rodin worked even harder to devote himself to art. He created modern sculpture in the face of misunderstanding, rejection and terrible criticism.
