The Fisher King
The Fisher King
Jack is a popular radio host. He has a sense of humor, sarcasm and professional cynicism, which as a result turns into a tragedy: one of the regular listeners followed his ironic advice: he entered a crowded cafe and discharged a full clip on unsuspecting visitors. Stunned Jack quits work and goes drinking, sinking to the bottom of despair. At this moment, he meets a homeless vagabond Perry, formerly a professor of history, who drags him into a strange world of his own fantasies, where medieval knights walk the sad streets of a huge city, and skyscrapers turn into majestic castles. Together, they go in search of the Holy Grail ... in the Manhattan area.
