A very small girl Jean Gray was left without parents. The only one who gave her shelter is Charles Xavier, who has a special school for gifted children. He always knew that Jean was an exceptional girl, almost the strongest mutant on our planet. During one rescue operation in Earth orbit, Jean was almost killed by an unknown cosmic force, but she managed to survive. When the mutant team returned home, they saw how Jean's powers had begun to grow. And the further - the more difficult it was for her to control them.
