Julia is an aging alcoholic. At almost 50, she has nothing but debt. For a good reward, she agrees to help her neighbor steal her son from her millionaire ex-father-in-law. But when it turns out that the neighbor will not give the promised money, Julia herself decides to demand a ransom from the rich grandfather. The rate increases to two million. Deciding that it is safer to negotiate outside the United States, she takes the kidnapped child to Mexico. But she does not take into account a small detail - in Mexico, kidnapping people, especially Americans, is also a very well-established business. And the boy is kidnapped by the Mexicans, not knowing anything about the millionaire grandfather and considering Julia to be the child's mother...
