Because of this, a woman feels constant dependence on everyone who had at least some place in her life: she watches over the families of her ex-husbands, torments her friends and sons. Even the new wives of her husbands fall under this list. According to Flavia herself, psychotherapist Grunewald can save her from this quagmire. The woman advises her patient a lot, opens new doors for her and reminds her how good it is to be alone.
